Hello East Bay Neighbor,

Welcome to Wayne County East Bay Improvement Association.

As you may know, the Association has been in existence since 1963, and it's sole purpose is to ensure that the Bay remains in a condition that best suits the Bay, its residents, and its plant and animal life. We strive to provide an enjoyable environment for all. As of 2007, we have become a 501(c)3 non profit organization.

Our major projects during the year include the dredging of the channel for Lake access and the NYSDEC approved Weed Management Program. In addition, we sponsor the annual Fourth of July Boat Parade and Ring of Fire, the beach clean up and the Annual East Bay Picnic.

Our monthly association meetings run from April to October and are held on the second Saturday of the month. Many of the members host the meetings at their cottage's, providing all with the ability to meet and greet your neighbors. The meetings are also a good forum to address your questions, concerns and suggestions. All pertinent decisions are voted on at these meetings, so we would welcome you to participate.

Please remember, funding for all of the projects that the Association currently undertaken are funded solely by membership dues, contributions and donations made to the Association, and we receive neither town, county nor state tax dollars to finance the cost of our projects. And, as we are now a 501(c)3 non profit, any donations may be eligible as a charitable tax deduction.
